Use Zeehan as a base to explore the wilderness areas of the West.

We are close the Pieman River, which was discovered in 1816. Many guests take a trip up the river to see the vast stands of Huon Pine and rainforest.

Cruise the famous World Heritage Wilderness of the Gordon River with "World Heritage Cruises" Discount is available for guests of the Cecil.

The more adventurous may wish to take a trip on the Wild Rivers Jet through the rain forested gorges of the King River on high performance jet boats.

Visit Montezuma falls or take a trip on the ABT Railway. There are many more activities that you can undertake. The staff of the Cecil are happy to help you with information and bookings if required.
